At Pavlovich, we know that every journey matters, but some carry a little more heart than others.

We were honoured to provide sponsored transport recently for a ‘thank you’ event at Starship Children’s Hospital

The special evening was dedicated to the generous supporters who have helped fund the largest redevelopment in Starship’s history – the expansion and transformation of the Paediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU).

The Starship Foundation organised an exclusive tour of the $48M new unit in Auckland.

Our teams were happy to help out, providing shuttle transport to take donors from the Starship Foundation offices over to the hospital for a behind-the-scenes look at world-class children’s care.

About Starship’s intensive care

Starship is New Zealand’s national children’s hospital, seeing over 150,000 patient visits annually.

The PICU is the only dedicated unit of its kind in the country, treating around 1,200 of our sickest children every year.

The recent expansion has:

  • Increased capacity, adding vital beds to ensure no child is turned away.
  • Transformed care by creating a family-centred environment which supports children and their whānau.
  • Equipped clinicians with the tools they need to accelerate world-class healthcare.

At Pavlovich, we are proud to be a small part of this community effort, supporting the logistics that allow these milestone moments to be shared.

How You Can Help
